This painting depicts the annual migration of this beautiful trout following nature's path to its end, and the beginning of a new generation. At this stage of physical changes he may or may not take the sportsman's offering. Note the distant trout following and the speed of the current flow, slow at the edge and moving four times faster at the center.

The printed lithographic image is the same size image as the Original Painting on a 16x20 inch canvas. The entire printing run was directed by the artist to insure accurate color fidelity to the original painting as the prints and the painting were continuously placed side by side throughout the printing process.
