This is an artist's imaginative interpretation of several passages,
written by the world famous naturalist and explorer JOHN MUIR (1838-1914), into his personal daily diary.
The subject of the writing was;
JOHN MUIR's first viewing of the wonderful and awe inspiring California's renowned Yosemite Valley,
accompanied by massive howling winds that bent the tallest trees like tender blades of grass plus a monstrously frightening rain storm (the Valley later to become America's first National Park).
